Building of an Igloo

Participants are required to create an igloo or a sculpture made of snow. We provide tools. Moreover, instructors will show how to prick out a “snow brick”.

Teamwork is a crucial element and a jury will evaluate the results. Special topics for the building of sculptures are possible.  

A campfire with a kettle of hot cider is provided to vitalize participants.

Options

Ice sculptures

Our instructors prepare roughly blocks of ice with a chainsaw. Participants then further process the block and design for instance sculptures.

Overnight stay in the igloo

Participants experience how comfortable it is to stay overnight in an igloo. Sleeping bags, camping pads and furs ensure warmth. 

The campfire provide the right atmosphere to tell stories or just enjoy the nature.

Moreover, „orientatio torch hikes“ can be realized

in the night.
